The WristWidget is a type of wrist brace that provides immobilization for weak or injured wrists with an anatomically-contoured design for comfort and fit. The WristWidget is mainly designed to treat ulnar-sided wrist pain that results from tears of the TFCC or the Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex.
It is indicated for ulnar-sided wrist pain, TFCC injuries and ECU subluxation. It has been researched and now used on over 400,000 patients worldwide.
The velcro closure mechanism does not interfere with wrist motion or weaken with use. It holds the wrist securely in place without irritation to the skin or wrist joint. It is made from non-elastic material which molds comfortably around the wrist. There is no compression to the ulna head, a key component to comfortable use.
